What's new in Complete Dynamics?
Version 12.2 - Released 25 January 2012
- Complete Repertory 2012 official release.
- Updated repertory translations for French, Hindi, Spanish, Russian and Dutch.
- Support for Hebrew, with right-to-left layout (prototype). Program translated by Yossi Tagori, our local dealer in Israel.
- Problem solved: Analysis could give incorrect results in case of multiple Grouped Rubrics (combine or cross) inside a single Symptom. In all other situations, the analysis result was correct.

- Special language characters. On a Mac, the keys Alt-s, Alt-n etc. are commonly used to enter special characters like ß, ç, ñ, etc. But those keys are used in the Case menu too. An option has been added in the Preferences to change the keyboard setting in the Case menu to Shift-Alt-key instead of Alt-key, so the Alt-keys can be used freely for the special characters.
- Mac version prepared for MacOsX Lion.
- Updated program texts and Help files for various languages.
- Manuals as eBooks for iPad. Can be downloaded from the website under Downloads, as well as under Documentation.
- Bugfix: Copy rubric to clipboard seemed not to function on some Windows computers.
- Fixed a problem in the Windows installation.
Version 11.3 - Released 4 July 2011
- Sharing of Cases or Analyses with your colleaugues.
This feature allows you to exchange your cases and analyses with your colleagues.
Users with the Browser Edition will also be able to view exported cases and analyses. With this option, Complete Dynamics is becoming more and more popular with teachers and students as well! Exporting can be done anonynomous too, to ensure your patient's privacy.
- Sharing of Cases between multiple computers, if you use more than 1 computer.
With this wonderful feature, you case easily keep your Cases synchronised, wherever you work!
- Provings website. From Complete Dynamics, you will have direct access to the well know website www.provings.info.
We are very glad that Dr. Jörg Wichmann has asked us to work together in integrating his valuable resource of information into the Materia Medica module.
- For German speaking customers, we also link to the very interesting website www.system-sat.de.
- Quick locating a remedy in the analysis result. This will show in an instant where a give remedy occurs in the analysis results.
- New result options for the Reverse Materia Medica (All, Proven symptoms, Complete symptoms, Proven & Complete symptoms, Red Line symptoms, Unique rubrics).

Version 11.2 - Released 23 April 2011
- This is a maintenance release, plus language extensions.

Version 11.1 - Released 25 February 2011
- Version numbering has changed as of this release. Version xx.y means year 20xx, release y (so this is the first release in 2011). This makes it easier to see how recent or old a version is, based upon the version number only. It is also consistent with the numbering scheme used for the Complete Repertory releases.
- Complete Repertory version 2011.
The latest edition of the repertory features:
- About 15,000 additions from contemporary Homeopathic Magazines like Homeopathic Links, Zeitschrift für Klassische Homöopathie, Homöopathie Konkret, Homöopathie Zeitschrift and hundreds of additions from internet magazines like Interhomeopathy.
- 14 remedy-pictures have been added since 2010.
- Nearly 300,000 additions from John Henry Clarke's Clinical Materia Medica of mainly the smaller remedies out of Volume 1, start of 2 and 3 (an ongoing process of upgrading that will continue in the next versions of the Complete Repertory).
- Translations of the Complete Repertory:
- Portuguese translation is completed. Many thanks to Maria Tereza Pennella Freire of Brazil for her excellent work!

Dutch translation is now completed for more than 90%.
- German translation has been updated for the 2011 repertory.
- Case module:
- Filtering of cases now uses the same rules as in the Find module (use of =, *, +, /, -).
- Improved printing for analyses with many rubrics.
- Clearer printing on black and white printers.
- Color or black and white printing is now optional.
- PDF document printing.
- Analysis module:
- Bönninghousen style analysis has been added. In this type of analysis, a remedy is counted based upon its occurence in related rubrics in the repertory. This style of analysis is used mainly with the larger and more generic rubrics. Also, correction for polar rubrcis (see below) is more important.
- Correction for Polar Rubrics. The value of a remedy in the analysis is corrected if the remedy also occurs in the rubric that is the opposite (for example: agg. versus amel.). This can be switched on/off by the user at will.
- Polar rubrics are shown directly under a rubric, to clearly visualise the values of remedies in both opposite rubrics.
- Contra indications for a remedy are highlighted, when polar correction is used. A remedy is contra indicated if it occurs in a low grade in a rubric, but in a high grade in the opposite rubric.
- Clicking on a Symptom highlights all remedies that cover that symptom.
- New layout for results in table format. This draws the results with squares instead of circles, in an appealing and clear style.
- Multiple selection of Symptoms and Rubrics makes it much easier to adjust the analysis settings.
- Grouped rubrics (Combine and Cross) also show the remedies for the group (before only the individual member rubrics were shown).
- Number of remedies for a Symptom is shown.
- Sorting of Symptoms to easily arrange them (in popup menu).

Popup menu's with frequently used functions have been added at several places in the Analysis module.
- Numbers of symptoms covered is shown when the number option is switched on. Sorting on number of Rubrics covered now first sorts on number of Symptoms covered.
- Find module:
- Differential Diagnosis has been added to the Find module results. This very powerful tool gives a ranking for remedies in all the rubrics that have been found in the query.
- Chapter selection enables you to restrict your query to selectable repertory chapters.

- Remedy lookup filtering now
uses the same rules as in the Find module (use of =, *, +, /, -).
- Book module:
- Number of remedies in a rubric can now always be shown (via Preferences setting).

Version 2.9 - Released 12 July 2010
- Materia Medica: Release of the first part of our Materia Medica module.
This release offers you the Reverse Materia Medica, which is based entirely upon the contents of the Complete Repertory.
- Differential Diagnosis: Allows you to seen related remedies in the Find and Materia Medica modules.
- Popup menus: Popup menus are added in various places.
You find the popup menus in the Book, Find and Materia Medica modules on Rubrics and Remedies.
In the Case and Analysis modules, they can be used for various editing functions.
Just right-click on something with the mouse, and where useful a menu appear with the frequently used options. Play with it to find out, this is a very useful feature!
- Case module: Double clicking on an Analysis now selects that analysis and automatically opens the Analysis module. To edit the information of an analysis, use the menu option or the new popup menus! (Many users requested this change).
- Book module: We added a standard filter for the rubrics of Allen's Therapeutic Pocket Book. Can be selected from the menu with Menu / Book / Book selection / Pages from Allen's Therapeutic Pocket Book. (Practitioner Edition only).
- Book module: For a reference to another rubric, the number of remedies in that rubric is printed after the rubirc. This way you can instantly see how large that rubric is.
- Languages: Switching between languages has been made easier if you have purchased just one extra repertory language. Just click on the flag icon, and the language changes automatically to your second language, and vice versa.
- Languages: Dutch translation of the Complete Repertory is progressing very well. We now officially release it for the first time. Work has completed for 85%, the remainder will be translated and released very soon. (If you buy it now, of course the upgrade is free).

Version 2.6 - Released 8 April 2010
- Inproved usability in adding rubrics to an analysis. In the Find module, a rubric can now be added with the Enter key, like in the Book module. Jumping from a rubric in the Find module to that rubric in the Book module is now done by double clicking on it (many users requested this change).
- After closing a Case, the Case module opens automatically, for selecting or creating another Case.
- Program language support added for German.
(Help files for German will be added soon, work is in progress!).
- Program language support added for Portuguese.
- Help files added for language Dutch.
- Automatic filtering of result in an analysis that uses the Disease Classification, according to the instructions given by Hahnemann in his Organon and Chronic Diseases.

Version 2.5 - Released 26 February 2010
- Fixed a few problems, related to layout when printing cases and analyses.
- Added a Print Preview dialog (Menu / Case / Print preview).
- Copy to clipboard now copies in both html and unformatted text format. This facilitates pasting in applications that do not support formatted text (in html-format).
- Resolved an issue in displaying large numbers of analyses in the Case module, where not all analyses where shown due to insufficient screen space.
Version 2.4 - Released 17 February 2010
- Complete Repertory version 2010.
Many new reliable sources have been added.
Generalities section completely overhauled, in total over 100.000 new entries there.

- New book chapter Kingdoms & Famlies.
This new chapter contains extensive remedy grouping information, including detailed taxnomy information.
APG II taxonomy for flowering plants is included too.
- Book chapter Remedies is extended with lots of information about each remedy, with cross references to the relevant Kingdoms & Families chapter.
- Analysis results can be filtered on remedy groups.
For example: Show only minerals or plants. All groups in the new Kingdoms & Famlies chapter can be selected.
- Help texts in the Find, Case and Analysis modules.
These help texts are shown to assist you in learning more about Complete Dynamics.
- Move Analysis to another Case.
In some case you create an Analysis in a certain Case, but actually want to store in as part of another Case. You can now move the Analysis from one Case to another Case.
- Printing of Analysis on a single page.
When printing an Analysis, printing is now restricted to the graph that you have selected in the Analysis module. All settings as used there, are used in printing too, so you print exactly what you want, on just 1 page.
- Preference setting for animations.
Whene opening or closing a Case, some of the case paper sheet move to their position in an animated way. If you don't want this, it can be switched of in the Preference settings.
- Adding Rubric to Analysis with the Enter key.
In the Book module, you can now add a Rubric by just hitting the Enter key while standing on the Rubric.
- Help sections.
Some pages have been added to the built-in Help module.
Just go and read it once more, you can always some new things if you take a look at the Help pages from time to time...
- Case and Analysis modules in Browser edition.
These modules are now also shown in the Browser edition, to get a good impression of them.
Creating or modifying Cases and Analysis is not possible, this is functionality of the Practitioner edition only.
- Find can exclude texts or remedies.
The Find modules has been extended with an option to exclude rubrics from the find result if they contain certain texts or remedies.
This is done by preceding the text or remedy with a minus sign.
Example: nat-m. head -pain
Finds all natrum muriaticum
rubrics with "head" in it, but not "pain".
